Dr. Becca Smith-Hill

Dr. Rebecca Smith Hill is an Assistant Director at Carolina LIFE, an inclusive postsecondary education program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities at University of South Carolina. 

 

She recently graduated from USC with her PhD in special education, with a focus on transition. She taught for 9 years in public school settings in both middle and high school special education classrooms. 

 

Her Masters is in social work and she worked for 9 years supporting families experiencing homelessness. 

 

She and her husband James live in Columbia with their two children, ages 12 and 10.
