My name is Andrea Mundo. I have 24 years experience teaching mathematics at the middle and secondary level. I have a masters degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and I am SC state teacher certified in middle and secondary mathematics. I presently teach Geometry and Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry at Heathwood Hall. During my teaching career, I have taught various math courses, ranging from middle school math, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and SAT/ACT test prep.
One of my strengths as a teacher is my ability to break down complex mathematical concepts into simpler, more manageable steps. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and actively participate in their own learning. I am also well-versed in adapting my teaching style to accommodate different learning preferences and addressing individual needs.
In addition to my teaching background and experience, I possess strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed in their mathematical endeavors. I am excited to bring my skills and passion to the Peace of Mind instructional team.
