Evan Granrud

Evan Granrud has been with Peace of Mind since October 2022.  Mr G received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and a Masters in Teaching from the University of South Carolina.  He is currently a teacher at Dreher High School, where he teaches Foundations of Algebra and Geometry. Go Blue Devils! 

Mr G's teaching philosophy inside and outside of the classroom:

• Students are taught and expected to practice collaboration skills throughout all units and math topics.

• Emphasis on mathematical literacy providing students with strategies to be successful when working with text, - specifically when working with word problems. 

Outside of school Mr. G also works as a club dive coach for the South Carolina Divers Club program.  He loves to play video games, watch tv, or go on hikes and bike rides with his dog Oliver. Oliver is a Great Pyrenees mix, and is almost 3 years old. He is the sweetest dog ever and is Evan's whole world.  Feel free to ask him to show you pictures!
